The other day I decided that I would make some cupcakes for the girls to take to their babysitter and to share with the other kids. Okay, maybe I just felt like licking the bowl, but for whatever reason I opened up the store bought cake mix and got started. After getting them in the oven and licking the bowl/beaters/spoon/scraper/etc. I let them cool and started frosting them. I thought it would be fun to let Skylar do the sprinkles.

She hasn't ever been big enough to "help" me do anything in the kitchen before so I thought I would try to give her a chance. She was so excited to help and did a fairly good job giving each cupcake her personal touch with some getting a lot of sprinkles all in one spot and some others getting only about two sprinkles total.

The sprinkle jar had frosting all over the lid from getting it too close and many, many more sprinkles got on the chair/floor/counter/etc. However, it was all worth it and we had a lot of fun eating our creations, too!

I don't ever think that I will get all of the sprinkles cleaned up off of the floor. They just keep showing up!

(Don't know why this photo is pink. I think I need some photography classes or something!)
